The big one
Most bifold quotes arrive a week after the salesman leaves, with a discount that only lasts until Friday. Ours is arithmetic. Measure the opening, multiply by a thousand, and that is the number we will be quoting.
Three metres is the size most rear extensions and knocked-through dining rooms end up at, and it splits neatly into three panels that stack against one jamb. Wider openings run to four, five or six panels and are priced exactly the same way.

Yes, that is our rate for aluminium bifolds supplied and fitted. A 3 metre opening is £3,000, a 4 metre opening is £4,000. The survey confirms the exact width and checks the opening is sound; if anything needs doing beyond the doors themselves, such as a new lintel or brickwork, we tell you before you commit.
Most homes end up between 3 and 5 metres, split into three to five panels. Wider runs are possible. The important thing is what is above the opening, so we always check the lintel and how the panels will stack before quoting.
From £1,999, with the final figure based on the area and the state of the existing decking. GRP is laid as one seamless piece, so there are no joints or laps for wind to get under — which matters more here than it does inland.
A set of bifolds is usually a single day. A typical garage roof is a day, sometimes two if the decking has to come off. Windows and doors depend on the number of units, and we will give you a realistic timescale with the quote rather than an optimistic one.
